Debt with final charging order

Hi all
I currently have one out of five debts with the highest being £6,300 totalling approx 9k. The debt was originally a car on a HPI with London and Surrey finance back in 2012 at £3,200 but once it went through the courts it's now doubled.
I'm currently paying £20pm to greenhalgh kerr solicitors to cover this. I've been able to get my debts down from 15k to 9k and this one is my highest.
The next one down is 1,900, then 490 and 120 and 135. I'm hoping the 3 smaller ones will be paid by the end of the year.
I know it's my own fault but I'm so annoyed an 8yr old debt is making my debt total double more than it could be. Is there anything I could do?

More details on the charging order would be useful. What did you do about the court paperwork? It's a bit serious.
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's and their rules apply.

Hi,They have taken you to court, obtained a CCJ, and got a final charging order on your property, have I got that right ?The time to ask "Is there anything I could do ?" must surely have been at the pre-action stage, its far to late now unfortunatly, if you don`t continue to pay, theoretically they can apply for an order for sale, however, this is very, very rare, and every other avenue would be explored before that happened, but short of paying off the debt as quickly as you can, I really can`t see what advice you are looking for here, sorry.

Sorry I should have said the charging order isnt my main concern we have enough equity in the property and always new it would be paid. The solicitors and client are happy with the £20pm. The debt was made in a difficult and naive time of my life which I'm paying for now which is what it is. I have asked for a settlement fee as I'm hoping that may help somewhat.1

What are the terms of the order? Have they included interest at the statutory (8%) rate?
