I love my Nokia 8310, compact, long battery life, excellent signal, just a great little phone. I want to upgrade to something a bit more modern now, any phones you guyz recommend? Does not have to be Nokia btw

Depends on what exactly you want and how much you want to pay, would recommend either the 6230i or Samsung D500 (soon to be replaced by the D600)2p off is still 2p off!0

I used to have one of those and loved it too. They are great little things. I upgraded to a Nokia 6610i. It's got the same feel with a colour screen and camera. It's a bit dated now (been out 2 years) but that just means you can pick up one cheap

Cheers, My budget is arounf £60 - £80 so the 6230i is well out of reach, nice though, the 6610i seems to be a great choice cheers, btw what the quality like on the camera?0

When I first got it a year ago, people said the camera quality was excellent. However, I do know some of the older Samsungs from that time are better. Also, a friend of mine has a spanking new Nokia (don;t know the model) and we took a picture of the same thing. Hers came out much clearer than mine but I guess thats just newer technology. The 6610 is fine, really.
I didnt bother upgrading this year - the only thing that I missed from the 8310 was the lack of personalised ringtones and choice of covers (you'd have to go to Ebay for interesting ones - Nokia ones are only about five colours.)
If you cant get to a phone shop I know large Tescos have them on display too for around your budget."Life is like a game of cards.
