tesco direct,i wanna refund!!

Hi all, I have a Philips lcd that i bought from tesco direct back in March its playing up does anyone know if im entitled to a refund or will it have to be repaired??

It is up to the retailer. They can choose to repair, replace or refund.
I'm guessing you want your money back so that you can buy a shinier newer model instead?
You MIGHT be lucky with Tesco Direct. Some retailers buy products 'out of warranty' from the manufacturer, thereby taking full ownership of the warranty. In such cases, they sometimes ONLY refund you, although this is more likely to happen with lower priced goods.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
We were lucky with Tesco as we had a technosonic tele we bought off them which occasionally played up. They will either fix it or refund you depends on the make and if it can be fixed easily. You will need to give them a ring and they give you a few things to try like unplug it and check cables etc. None of this worked for my tele so i told them i was willing to pay the extra £100 for the Samsung offer they were doing and they said fine and gave me code so i could take it back to my local tesco. Good luck hope you get your refund

A shinier newer bigger model would be good:rotfl:but the tv is genuinely playing up but i do not want to be without while they repair:eek:! i will give them a call!!!:T I love the cake :T0
