Mortgage settlement calculation

Each day Interest is added to the mortgage and then once a month you make the monthly mortgage payment so it's a bit of a moving target to pin down to the nearest pound how much you owe.
Your solicitor will ask your lender how much money is needed to repay the mortgage on XX day when you pay off the debt.
I am assuming here that your moving property and buying a new home

The house is on a consent to let mortgage, does this apply? We will be selling it for less than we bought it for too.  We bought in 2008 pre market crash.
