Intrum

Hi,

DH received a letter from Intrum today regarding a debt they say they purchased in 2008. The letter states that the period for court action has expired (as it's obviously more than 6 years ago) but says they are 'legally within their rights to continue to ask for repayment'.

Do we simply ignore or should we send a Statue Barred letter?

They have already indicated as SB. Save the stamp and file it in the "bin" section of your home.

Agreed, they cannot take this anywhere, so will eventually get tired and move on to someone else.
