How long is a piece of string?
You are probably looking at 2 months at least. Most of them are not even doing 85% at the minute and there were only 3-4 who would go to 90% when things were at its best. One of those is not lending anything at the minute, another is only currently doing BTLs, the others are capped at 75% for the time being.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. You reckon it might open up in a fortnight?ACG said:I dont understand your post.
The thing is i've got an offer accepted on a house
What are the names of the lenders you are talking about?
1. no one knows
2. Congratulations but for this purpose, irrelevant
3. Not sure but most of them only deal with brokers (some of them dont even deal with individual brokers and we have to go through another broker called a 'packager'). You wont gain much by knowing who they were, just get a good broker who works in this area and wait for them to open up. Not a lot else you can do.
