Hi,
Lloyds TSB have started debiting my account to the tune of £137 a month.
It is for a loan that I had no knowledge of.
No warning did I receive nor explanation. Just £137 missing from my account.
They claim that on closing a loan with them three years ago, I failed to clear £640 of the remaining balance.
They obviously chose not draw my attention to this. Instead, they sat on that amount for three years while it gained a nice sum of interest and then chose to start collecting it back last month. WITHOUT WARNING.
Where do I stand on this? Do I have any rights? What should I do?
HELP!!!!!
Thanks in advance.

Have you had a loan?
By closing the loan was this you paying early or the bank putting you into Collections?
I would certainly ask to speak to a branch manager who can certainly find out what has happened.
A similar case recently I had experience of was the loan centre doing one thing and Collections doing something else and neither side talking to each other.0 -
