I guess they phrase it that way to keep you tuned in & listening to the station; to be fair, boosting listener numbers & the increased advertising revenue that generates is part of the reason they’re running these comps ...Wins - £48k 2019, £5k 2020, £1000 2021, £280 2022 ... £196k to the £1/4 million target ...1 -
They always say that for some reason (eg "your next chance to win is after the news") and have done for the 2 years or so that this has been running. It just means your next reminder of the amount and how to enter.2
