Stakeholder Pensions & Bid-Offer Spread

Hoping someone can help me answer a thought I had:
It's my understanding that you're not allowed a bid-offer spread on Stakeholder pensions (perhaps someone can clarify this?) but a lot of property funds have now moved to a bid price.
Is this legal if the fund is held under a stakeholder pension? If so, how is this achieved (loophole etc)?
Thanks
CC

Stakeholder pension funds are single priced. So they just adjust the unit price. There is no bid/offer spread.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Another way of looking at it is the bid/offer spread is included in the price. In a way, it's shared between the buyers and the sellers as the single price is usually around the mid-price - halfway between what the bid and offer prices would have been.
Let's not go into floating prices as I don't know if they apply in SHPs
