If you go to the CAB for a DRO, chances are its done face to face with the intermediary, and imputed to the IS website there and then.
With stepchange, its slightly different, as its done remotely, you download and fill in the form yourself, then post it to SC, who then imput the data to the insolvency service, if there is anything they need to question, they phone you up to deal with it.
If your income is nil, you put nil or "0".

They then send the letter with the payment barcode to you, once thats paid, thats it your done, no monthly checks, if your circumstances don`t change, you won`t hear from SC or IS again, except to receive your copy of the paperwork.

Your car is valued on Parkers, usually lowest value applies.

Well, it was. It's going to be a very slow process to get back to face-to-face advice. For now the vast majority of it is being done by phone and the 'DRO Unit' set up by the Money advice service will be getting a lot of use - that's a remote service.
