Where to post amounts?

It has always been below the link. You don't need to see the amount first. The first thing you need to do is enter. You only need to see and know the amount if you are lucky enough to receive the phone call.
It should be the choice of the person who posts the competition and relevant information. Those forum members who post the competition details and take time to find the answers are amazing for all the hard work they do. 

I agree that it's the choice of the poster (and about other forum members who post comps) but they decided to do a poll to find the general consensus and I'm trying to understand people's reasons for wanting it to stay put, so thanks for your reply but could you please elaborate.

"The first thing you need to do is enter" granted, but would the slight change in postioning of the link stop you from doing this? Or are you entering directly from the email?
"You only need to see and know the amount if you are lucky enough to receive the phone call"  are you really saying you haven't taken note of the amount (or artist etc) in case you're called? I've seen tales of people who didn't have it right in front of them, in some other place than their phone, it didn't work out well for them!

Personally I prefer it below because as far as I can remember it has always been below but I may be wrong. I, like a lot of others enter a large amount of competitions and for these radio based competitions I personally keep each page/tab open on my computer so I can go straight to it should I be lucky enough to get the call. Personally it is impossible for me to remember which particular amount and artist relates to which radio station competition as both change every day. 

At present I have access to my computer at the relevant time of each competition's end time. If I am not going to be available then I note the amount and/or artist elsewhere to take with me. And if I were not available to take the call then I would be one of the unlucky people who missed out on that particular chance to win. If I know I am definitely not going to be available to take the call on that particular day then I don't enter to avoid disappointment.

Yes things are changing but not everything has to. Be it above or below it would not stop me entering in my own particular way. If it changes it changes.
