Post bankruptcy clean up & what to do now...

Options
Hi! I was discharged from my BO on the 10th so only a few days ago, I’ve checked my credit report using Equifax and there’s a large number of debts that aren’t recorded correctly according to the sticky clean up
post. Am I right in thinking I can deal with these now despite only being discharged for a few days?

Also, any advice on how to proceed - my aim is to get on the housing ladder at some point in the future so keen to rebuild my credit score. I’m scared to apply to a credit card, get refused and it knock my score even lower than it currently is 😓

My advice, come back to it in the autumn, things may update themselves in coming months, if they haven’t by autumn you should chase. The effect on your credit history doesn’t depend on when you do this, just do it before you apply for credit

if your aim is to get a mortgage focus on saving saving saving. Maybe get a card next year and use and clear in full, but no need for many cards and no urgency at all (your talking a 2-5 year wait to get a mortgage wether you have good reports from credit cards for 1 or 3 years won’t make much odds)
