Get a glass bottle with a good seal. Sterilize it properly.
Warm oil and chilli in a clean pan to 80C. Pour oil into bottle and seal with a sterile seal.
If you don't sterilise everything properly you'll probably be fine. Then again you might end up with botulism and go blind or die: it's up to you how well to sterilise everything or whether to do this at all.
I make homemade pickles (chilli oil is effectively a pickled chilli IMO) and cured meats. I am absolutely scrupulous about sterilising everything and nobody has gone blind eating my bacon or onion marmalade.0 -
Just Google it. There are numerous recipes are available on the Google and YouTube

vitaweat,
How do you make your onion marmalade?
SPC 0370 -
Good advice. Sterilising is important. If you have a pressure cooker, you can pressure sterilise your preserves. The Americans call it "pressure canning".vitaweat said:Get a glass bottle with a good seal. Sterilize it properly.
