confused over credit report

Morning guys
I am a member of the MSE credit club and received an email this morning telling me that my credit report had been updated.I have logged in and my credit score has dropped by about 100 points. On the summary page it says I have one or more missed payments however I have been through my report and have checked the activity for each account - each one is showing as up to date with no late or missed payments for 12 months. The summary didn't flag up any missed payments last month, or any month before that so I am confused!!! help!!

You need to go through each page of your report, line by line, word by word, checking that all recorded data is an accurate reflection of your credit account conduct.
Check all three of your files as each one will be slightly different.

Credit scores rise and fall with the tide, you do know it is just a marketing ploy don`t you ?Not used in decision making, and only seen by you, this score generated by the CRA`s just reacts to change of any kind, good, bad, or indifferent, the messages you get are generic, they may apply to you, they may not.Best to ignore the score, just make sure the information is correct, and don`t get suckered into the "checking my credit score every five minutes gang".I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I'm amazed that MSE peddle credit scores when they are meaningless, if you know you haven't missed any payments don't lose any sleep over it.0
