I had bleeding ulcers because I ignored.   Acid reflux and a sharp pain which was at the top of the stomach.  If I did not eat I threw up clear stomach actually acid eating actually eased it.   I now have to take prescription tablets for the rest of my life.

As said you need to look at your diet and over the counter painkillers aspirin can cause them and believe it or not a stomach virus

Please contact your doctor or 111. I was very ill a week ago and ended up in A&E. I was treated like royalty, everyone had full PPE and I was put in a private room on a small ward. I had my surgery the next day. If I'd left it much longer I could've ended up with sepsis. The reason people are being asked to stay home is to Protect the NHS. They are there to look after you when you are ill. Do not leave it until you are too ill to be helped.

I eat the same things i have done for years without any problem at all, good weight. almost teatotal, thing what really got me is on saturday lovely warm day, sat in back garden with 1 can of lager, first drink for 9 months, and felt sick after it but the worst was the absolute bitter taste coming up my throat to my mouth, really the most bitter taste i have ever had, almost threw up. 1 can of lager in the last 9 months should not do that, i am reluctant now to have another one on a nice warm day in the summer, if thats the new norm for me.

Acid reflux.  Your doctor will start you off with prescription meds like pantoprazole.  Will then consider a gastroscope to see the internal workings.  It could be anything from you being a bit over weight to a hiatus hernia, to a faulty valve, to an ulcer.

The longer you leave it, the worse you will feel.

Yes, phone your doctor they should be able to prescribe something without having to see you.

That's some pretty serious reflux you've got there.

Definitely see a doctor asap.  Even if it isn't an ulcer long term reflux can eventually lead to very serious issues with the oesophagus so it needs sorting.

For the warm afternoons, wine is a better alternative to beer for avoiding acid reflux.
