Ours aren't going up till Monday I expect.

I really don't want to go to work today, it'll be heaving and everyone's at each others throats. New year, I'm so looking for something else.

Hope Argos isn't too manic IA!

Morning all, as planned the kids are creating the christmas tree, hopefully that'll keep them quiet all morning. I've got some craft things for them this afternoon, make your own decoration type things, so that's me with peace and quiet:T

    Hi all :D

Recovering from a little too much drink here, but intend to start preparing the house for the tree and decs. Also would love to pinch an idea I saw on here - think it was chocaholic but not sure, about creating a gorgeous advent calender tree with her DD involving lots of paint and matchboxes!

SSS enjoy your mystery shop -I find them quite fun. I challenged myself to pay my car insurance by MS-ing and so far I've managed the £15 per month I need. So next year I think I'll set my goals higher.

What are you doing- I like the eating ones best :o
  • yayy!!! opened the first door of the advent calendars - neither are chocolate ones though so feel very virtuous!

Had a good time at the dogs last night although the weather was torrential. I did feel sorry for the doggies haveing to run round in the appalling wind and rain.

Spent more on taxis than I lost on the racing!!!

Still trying to convince myself I don't need a pre-lit tree. I buy 1 new thing per year and I've bought a lovely nativity this year but I'd love a prelit tree. I'd talked myself out of it until I saw one pop up on the Julie Walters Asda advert for £25 - the cheapest one I've seen

Hi I_A - I was wondering if you were going to do the Advent Calender again this year. Hope you've got some good treats in store for us, again.

    Thanks.
