What Mortgage to take for a year?

Hi
Wondered if anyone can give me some advice.
My current fixed mortgage deal ends in August.
I'm looking to move house next summer 2021. My next move will require a bigger mortgage as I'm buying a more expensive house so I anticipate I'll need more money to borrow.
In the meantime what should I do? Get a discount deal for a year or just stay on SVR? I'm just thinking about fees. Dont need to get tied into them and have flexibility to start a new deal as soon as I move.
Wondered if anyone been in the same situation.
Many thanks

You need to se what your existing lender has to offer.
As you only want a new deal with No exit fees you will probably be looking at a discount/tracker deal.
Again check my phone with your lender that the deal has No ERC and apply online to start the new discount/tracker deal when your existing fox ends.
You can only do this when your keeping the same term and not borrowing any more money.
