Claiming back from amigo
I've recently sent a email (using the draft online) to start proceedings to claim back from amigo Loans. I read that somewhere (from Martin Lewis) but can't find where, that if they reply to you asking more questions what you should reply, because you don't need to give them any more information that the reason your claiming and the proof of your bank statements. I'm just wondering if anyone in here as claimed or seen the insert I'm trying to look for. Thanks.

Yes i have claimed a few months ago, it was successful. no template needed. First you ask for a SAR from amigos. Then once its given to you just write a formal complaint why you think they gave you it irresponsibly. IF you have a genuine case they will refund.1

also send them bank statements, evidence, credit files etc.
I think there is an article on debt camel. Google it0 -
What do you mean claim back? The general idea is that Amigo lend you money which you pay back with the agreed interest added. What happened in your case?0

It was probably a case of 'irresponsible lending' I'm assuming:
How the borrower of a guarantor loan can complain
How to complain when you are the guarantor for a loan
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job1
