Closing a payday loan account!

Hi all! My son has a payday loan and is trying to close it !! But every time he asks how much it is to close.. they tell him its. X amount , he pays it they tell him it’s closed and he will get confirmation that it is closed . The next day he has a message saying he owes more !!!!!! Can anyone help to get it closed for good!!! Thanks in advance

Has your son received a written statement of account? If not, then you need to see what that says. If your son disagrees with the sum owed, then he needs to dispute that in writing. Does he realise that PDL interest is often charged at over 1000% APR?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
