An elderly friend with an equally elderly Mac was dismayed to find that HMRC's free Basic Payroll Tools no longer supports his Mac, which dates from late 2012 and has version 10.12.6 of Sierra as its OS. Please does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative? His modest little company has one employee, so BPT has been ideal for the last decade. I found something called Shape Payroll, which seems to fit the bill perfectly (anyone familiar with it, please?), but it would be great to have thoughts from anyone who has just faced (and solved!) the same problem when it came into being last month.

We're using ReioHR payroll. It isn't free, it is £1 a month and has all the basic features needed. The user interface is pretty good for as well and they're a British company all based in London.
