Remortgaging question

Hi,

I have a mortgage with Woolwich, and before the virus hit I was considering moving house. However, I now intend to stay in my property and renovate it.

In order to achieve this, I will need to borrow further funds from my mortgage provider. My credit rating is good & my job is secure, but will the situation with the virus make it a lot more difficult to borrow? And if I am declined, does that affect my credit rating?

Many thanks for any help.

Well you need a plan ?
What renovations are you planning ?
Extension, loft conversion ? New kitchen and bathrooms ?
You need quotes and plans for the work you want doing.
Depending on your age, income, credit score and how much you want to borrow you can then arrange a meeting with your lender
