Has anyone had an AA loan . We've been accepted, credit agreement signed and sent back, but haven't  heard from them for a week now. Checked reviews and some people have gone through the process we have but finding out after 2 weeks they have been declined. Totally unacceptable. You can't call as they cut you off. I'm very worried now.

Yes, people have had AA loans.

They're not usually the number one  choice for customer service but you're just going to have to expect longer delays than normal.

What is it you're very worried about?

Thank you for your reply. I've read that people have received the loan credit agreement...Signed it....sent it back ,then after waiting for a week....contacting AA loans and have then been told they have been refused a loan. These reviews are recent too. I'm worried we will be refused too.

You may be, but that's always a possibility with any lender.

As far as I know, the AA are among the leading lenders, always with a good interest rate and flexible time options. I think they are very happy with their customer numbers. But, if we are to believe TrustPilot ( and we can never be certain about them), there are a lot of dissatisfied customers out there ( though some say they are wonderful). In your case, as you have got this far, take into account the delays and confusions and shortages of staff due to Covid and give AA a chance to prove themselves. I recommend patience-----and certainly do not worry : they're probably just a bit tardy in present climate and all will turn out fine. Come back and tell us in a week or two please----feedback always helps. And if you don't get your loan, there are plenty of fish in the sea for someone like you,Surfing, if you have a good credit history.

There are people that leave bad reviews for just about everything - that doesn’t mean that everything is bad. Yes there will be a few people who have had a negative experience - but reviews don’t always give the full story. Those that got turned down possibly had something deeper in their credit files that when manually reviewed might have led to them being declined - and in doing so they then went straight into review sites and left a negative comment. Don’t overly panic about it - be patient - things will be slower at the moment due to the number of staff that I’m sure will be self isolating, and the possibility that some of their staff will be working from home. I would just sit tight and wait.
