Alternative to Car Boot Selling.

I've seen the thread about someone selling food outside their house. That has some issues but how about sticking my Car Boot stuff outside? I was thinking of a notice i.e.: "Please look but observe Social Distancing rules. If you take change from the box to pay the asked price please observe hygiene advice about handling. Correct change appreciated. Sorry seller can not be contacted so we have tried to give a bargain price."
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Thanks. You could try Facebook marketplace, I sell things most days on there, arrange a time when buyer wants to collect and leave the item outside and have them put the money through the door. I leave the things right up against the front door, rather than out on my drive and keep careful watch through the Ring doorbell.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Apart from the risk of having the money or items stolen., I think the social distancing and hygiene rules could easily be ignored and you may get complaints from neighbours. In normal times this would work, seen it happening 25 yrs ago and more.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1
