hi,
I am struggling as to what to get my sister and her husband... I know that they would like the flavoured vodka's so am planning on doing some of them for each of them but what else???
They also have a baby (9mth now) and I looking in the shops and the website it would be very easy to spend a small futune on him which I really dont have this year ... My brain tells me that at this age he wont notice or care (apart from that he's getting loads from other family members plus his parents are getting him loads) but I still feel a bit tight. Any suggestions?
Jen

Has a sale on making some really lovley classic toys reasonable prices not sure what they have left but they seemed to have a lot more baby stuff than older kids stuff so worth checking.

My very first niece will be 4 months at Christmas, her parents said not to buy anything, buy you just can't, can you?
I ended up getting a Humphrey bowl (£3 Tesco) - it has a sucker on the bottom and a lid for relatively mess free weening! And have just ordered a set of personalised spoon, fork and knife (£2.99 Studio). Yes she's way too young for them know but it's something that will last a long time.
So for £6 she has a feeding set. My mum has got a set of the little plastic tupperware tubs for small amounts of food, and some bibs. All useful stuff is good when baby is too young to understand.
Or maybe something nice for the Nursery? A fun clock, or picture, or personlised door hanger.0 -
Thanks Hemc!! Just had a look and can see several things which will be perfect.... also going to get the 1st Birthday book thing for a boy as his 1st birthday is in March (wow doesnt time fly!), that will give me time to get some pictures together.
Ikcleous: I had never thought of getting something personalised!! I will check that he hasnt already got them and look around for a Knife, fork and spoon set. Any ideas anyone where I can get one at this late stage? will studio still take orders do you thing??

I just placed my order last night, so I hope so!
They say allow 28 days for personalised stuff so it may be a squeak in. They also had lovely little kids wooden chairs, personalised for £8.99. 0 -
excellent I will have a look on the website tonight and do it straight away!!

Done both just now!!
I've got Aaron a personalised knife, fork and spoon (from Studio) set and a sqeezy toy thing (from anara website) for Christmas AND a 1st Birthday book and musical toy set for his birthday (in March).
However, I still have zilch for my sis and her husband ...
Any ideas?

Do you live fairly close? How about a voucher for cinema or theatre tickets, and an offer to babysit? It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0

hi,
They live round the corner but I do that anyway ... I'm not sure what they would enjoy at the cinema/theatre to be honest ... Can you get vouchers for cinema's does anyone know?

Yes, you can get cinema vouchers0

hi,
You are all so right!! My sis was actually saying that her and hubby are struggling for time together, both as a family and as a couple. Has anyone any more ideas about what they could do together as a couple apart from the cinema?
