The 90 days seems to refer to a Bar Code that they supply to you by text specifically if you have elected to obtain payment from a Post Office.
The Terms initially say "The winners will be contacted by SMS within two (2) working days of the Competition in accordance with ITV’s General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions. The winners will be able to see their prize in their account on the Website. The winners must redeem their prize within twenty-eight (28) days of winner contact. If the winners fail to redeem their prize within twenty-eight (28) days of winner contact, the prize will be forfeited."
Presumably the 28 days applies if you haven't elected to Post Office payment but want it paid to your PayPal account.
This is all fully explained in post 2 of this thread.
If you had claimed a Post Office Bar Code and it has expired early, I'm sure ITV will send a replacement but if you failed the initial 28 day claim they may or may not.1 -

Copy and paste from terms today "The Barcode will expire ninety (90) days after receiving it"2 -
