Hi , Can someone please assist me ...  my question is .... I purchased a suite of furniture from a company and it fell apart after six months ... i am from ireland but the business is in uk .... i have taken him to the small claims court and got a reply back that he is gone into Bankruptcy ., But he is still conducting Business ... can he do that thank you

    Yes. Bankruptcy doesn't necessarily mean that an individual has to stop trading (although for tax purposes post-bankruptcy trading is essentially a 'new' business), though there are restrictions on how a person can trade in terms of trading name used.
