Don't think I caused the damage

  • To be clear Scrapit, I didn't slam my car door into theirs, if I had, then I would have left my details
  • The car park was almost full and I parked in the center of the space. Spaces are small and were designed for much smaller cars than what the majority of people drive today.

If you touched it at all it would have caused me anxiety.

No. It's about respect for others property. I have a vehicle which is the second most expensive thing I've ever bought. I detail it relegiouly, not just wash it. I drive it carefully and have never damaged it. Yet it has damage from parking dings. I work hard to earn my money to buy nice things and hard again to maintain it. But sadly I cannot police against the actions of others. The type of person the OP is gives me anxiety.

I also treat my car like you do  and get !!!!!! off with the parking dents, but the OP had said they suffer from anxiety so there was no need for you to make the OP feel worse after they had clearly explained that she hadn’t caused any damage.

Why not? Is the OP and her potentially car damaging ways more entitled than me and my car preservation ways?
