My partner had 2 weeks paternity pay and then was told he would be laid off by his boss until he had enough work. His boss paid him one weeks statutory lay off pay and then asked him to work again. He has done a weeks work but hasn’t been paid and his boss is saying he has to work a week in advance again even though he hasn’t been paid his original week in hand. His boss is saying he has but he hasn’t. Any advice on what he can do?
Any help is appreciated
King regards

Did your OH receive payslips?
You'll need to compose a letter, detailing all the payslips received to date and all the credits made to his bank account to date explaining where the missed payment is requesting the matter be rectified.
If the firm fail to rectify the error after 28 days, you will need to seek legal advice and may need to take them to small claims court.
You'll need evidence (payslips and bank statements).
Someone else may come along and move this to the correct forum too as this is the bankruptcy forum, you may get more advice once your post is relocated 🙂0
