First time Self-Assessment PAYE Tax Code Error

in Cutting tax
I am employed but also do some sole trader self employed work on the side. This is the first year of filling in my tax return (for the 2019/2020 year - yes im keen!)
My PAYE employer has my tax code as 1296L as I have some expenses included in this as i'm a nurse (professional subscriptions, uniform allowance etc)
However when it calculates my tax amount owed once I have filled in the additional self-employed income it is using the standard 1250L code thus suggesting I have underpaid on my employed PAYE income and increasing my tax bill due.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
