No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries - May

Tossed a gwp lipstick.  Was too weird according to the husband, wasn't the best colour, so life is too short.  Gone.  Top of the tube in the recycle bag.  I think it was a Lancôme one.  Nice formula though.

Gotta tube of Korres body butter on the go.  Not a favourite.  I can't make up my mind on what it smells like.  it does soak in well but I tend to use more of it in the winter.

One more UU - Bubble T Moroccan Mint Tea Reviving Hand Cream. This was an LHJ due to terrible packaging. I don't remember where I got it from, either an LF beauty box or reduced to clear in Waitrose a while back. It was in a very thick plastic bottle and the cream itself is very thick therefore it was very difficult to get the product out of the bottle. The cream itself wasn't for my liking. It didn't sink very well and felt sticky. WNBA.

Organic root stimulator Carrot oil cream: WNBA, did not moisturise hair enough.

17 Falsifeyes HD Mascara - this was pretty good, it had a nice thin brush and gave a natural application, it did become a bit dry and clumpy which doesn't normally happen to me as I don't pump the wand in and out of the tube, no flaking or smudging though which is a big plus in my book.

Had a sort through my stash storage and shifted things around again, it is still taking up a lot of room but each time I do this I notice a big difference to the amount of boxes and containers I have.  At one time I had stuff everywhere, I had the entire bottom section of a wardrobe, a bedside cabinet, 4 large boxes under the bed, bathroom cabinet, 3 stackable boxes in the bathroom, 3 shelves and 2 big storage boxes in a linen cupboard and a large 3 drawer storage unit all filled with toiletries, makeup, skincare, haircare and nail polish.  Utter madness.

I have had the same experience, from full drawer under bed (buckled at the bottom under the weight), to a stack of boxes inside a cupboard, now down to three well organised drawers in a narrow Ikea Malm! I'm hoping to get down to two drawers by the end of 2020

Aveda Texture Tonic. WNBA. This was a sample bottle I've been trying out during lockdown, now onto a full size bottle. I doubt I'll buy it but it's been good to be able to try things out.

lantanna - you are making good progress by the looks of it, do you think you will be able to pan those red tones, they look like something you would only be able to use a tiny dab of? 

I rotate my palettes on a monthly basis for variety and to get good use from them, I doubt I will ever completely finish one, there is always a few colours that I never touch - matt black for instance, plus I get very bored.

I’ve had the palette so long the red/pinky tones have lost a lot off pigment. I’ll not finish everything in it, just have planned to de clutter it at the end of the year so just trying to get as much use from it as possible. It has a use by in 6 months on it which for an eye palette I think is shocking. I use other palettes too as like you I get bored but I just no sending this off at the end of the year having been well used will give me great satisfaction. Not a fan of black eyeshadows either.
