Week 3/260
The usual £432.42 into savings ..Total £912.26 ..This money is going in to 2 x Regular Savers and anywhere else safe actually probably Premium Bonds might be a good idea
£126.92 Millionaires Challenge ..Total now stands at £405.77 .£400 is in my ISA and £5.77 float. I am trying to think of something I could make and sell to grow this money quicker ,I am quite good at flower arranging so I might try making up some bouquets ,baskets etc and see how I get on
I have 4 more days left in week 3 so I will see if theres anything else I can do to add to this weeks float before Friday but I am very happy with these totals

Good progress being made in here, well done. I've had a tidy up of all my accounts at the weekend to get rid of all those with pathetic rates. At the minute I've kept Marcus account for my EF, but already moved some savings into premium bonds and if Marcus drops below 1% then I'll more than likely close and move into more premium bonds.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......2

I have been following you closely SJ , I did see that you had closed lots of your accounts .I think they are only worth the trouble if they are making at least 2% , I find it so frustrating trying to remember when to pass the money through some of these accounts and often end up paying fees ,I too shall put the main bulk of our money into PB , I do already have a few and have won twice in the last few months1

Junes aim is to save £1500 towards the mortgage and to save £400 in my float money ..Maybe if I write it down every month it will make me more accountable , heres hoping ..
I am now also concentrating again on the millionaires challenge and have decided to start from June ..I have 484.32 in my Isa which will be my starting balance ,so far since the first I have saved £76.17 so am now over £500 which is a great start to my challenge .So I now have two challenges £100000 in 5 years and £1000000 in 10 years ,two massive challenges but they will both hopefully spur me into some kind of action ..Where the million pounds will come from I do not know but that is the whole point of the challenge to have fun finding it
