Hi guys.
I have some sort of wound/infection on the other side of my ankle for the last 2 weeks.
Its slowly spreading up my leg in patches.
The dr isnt taking any appointments due to covid19 and last time recomended me bazooka over the phone. Now i think until he see's it he cant diagnose it properly and i think its getting worse and worse. What can i do in this situation? I have uploaded a pic see if any of you is any the wiser what it is?

Just ring the dr, they are seeing those that really need to be seen. They are also doing prescriptions over the phone. I had a toe infection and used the online consultation, gave a good description, spoke to the dr then picked up my antibiotic.

    +1 to this ^^^^.
My friend had a couple of insect bites a couple of weeks ago.
She rang her GP, they asked her to send photos and then prescribed anti-biotics.
    It's healing up nicely.

My doctors now have a service called “go to askmygp” it’s an online consultation platform. You either video or photograph your ailment they reply by phone, email, or video within that working day. Have yours got this or similar?

Gunner, the fact the two marks seem to be some distance apart you need to make sure there's no parasite in there.

Have you tried your local pharmacist?  Or, and I would never normally recommend this in normal circumstances, your local Emergency department?

My partner was having a phone consultation with an immunologist at the general hospital and they said Emergency was pretty much empty.  Having said that, I'd only consider this option as a last resort and only if you or any in your home are not considered vulnerable with regard to COVID-19.

You should be able to upload your pic via an email and send to the surgery for a doctor to view prior to a call back. Obviously ring the surgery up first and say you want a call back after the pictures have been viewed and they will advise the best procedure. I had to do this last week and got a call back later in the afternoon once my email had been read.

Fucidin doesn't seem to be anti-fungal - best to give the doc a ring again or ask to speak to a pharmacist if they are still doing consulations.
