Pension Payments (outside of tax year) on Self Assessment

Hi All
I'm just filling in my self assessment, and I've noticed my employer sent my March pension payment late and it actually arrived with Aviva after 6th April.
I still want to claim this in my 19/20 tax year, I assume there is no problem doing this? Obviously I won't include this when I do my 20/21 self assessment.

Also, could I send a payment now to reduce my tax in the last year? There is no option is Aviva to say it's for the last tax year. Basically I want to reduce my child benefit tax charge, as I earn just over the higher rate limit.

Thanks!
