Mortgage switch

Hi, I'm posting for the first time so I apologise if this is in the wrong place.
Basically I would like to know if it's possible to get a better deal on a mortgage if my marriage to my wife is in dispute. We've been separated for coming up to 4 years now and there's zero chance of a reconciliation, we've both moved on, we're both happy and in new relationships.
Its a joint mortgage and I pay the majority of it although I don't live at the property.
I just want to know if it's possible to shift to a lower rate than the fixed rate it's currently on.
Thanks in advance for any possible information
Keith.

You will need to look at the documentation. You may be able to switch to a better rate but there may be early redemption fees etc. Do you have the paperwork?"Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits" Thomas Edison
