Hi, our LTV must be incorrect as we have had an extension and must be worth more than mouseprice, zoopla are quoting. How do I work how much my house is worth correctly as our mortgage is up for renewal. Thank you.

By comparing it with recent prices paid for similar properties in the neighbourhood.

How do you work out what your house is actually worth?
Sell it
How can you work out an estimate?
Look at similar properties sold over a 6 month period but be wary that the market is different now to what it was 6 months ago0 -
Thanks but as I say similar properties wouldn't be the same as we have an extension on it and people don't move regularly where i live! Would I go by the mouseprice or zoopla guess price, but then add on how much it cost us to build the extension?

you could pay a surveyor to value the property. would cost you a couple of hundred probably.
If you are doing this purely for mortgage purposes then if you move to a new lender you just select what you think its worth and then the surveyor for the lender will either agree or disagree with it.
