Shared ownership with restriction on stair casing

We had a mortgage agreed by Barclays who have now pulled out because we can’t staircase to 100% ... the property is restricted to 80% being in a rural area, 
we have a mortgage broker whom we gave this info to at the beginning of whole process, we are now at risk of losing the property we want, does anyone have any advice? What lenders lend to shared ownership with restriction on lease? Must be some as they would offer such properties, also is there any thing we can do to find out who’s messed up? Is there any hope to resolve this situation especially now with banks pulling mortgages?

    Just out of interest but are you planning to staircase to 80%? I wouldn’t have thought many people would want to buy it off you once you got to 80% as with a small increase in budget they could achieve a similar property on 100% ownership.

    The chances of us staircasing to 80% is slim, but we want to get on property ladder and don’t earn enough to get mortgage to cover a property full out,
    what I’m after knowing is what banks do mortgages with restricted staircasing, there must be some because there are a lot about
