Wrong product on mortgage offer

Just before lockdown, my wife and I had confirmation via our broker that our mortgage offer was being made. In meetings with the broker, we agreed to porting our current mortgage with Halifax and then borrowing additional funds with Halifax to avoid fees.  In the first mortgage illustration, the broker had chosen a product that would not have included porting but then sent an amended illustration that included porting so we were essentially having two separate mortgages until the fixed term on the current mortgage expired.

I received the confirmed offer in the post today but it was the full amount shown on the offer and not the two-part mortgage we were expecting. I've tried getting in touch with the broker and Halifax but cannot get through, possibly due to the weekend/covid-19.

Does anyone know if it will be a straight forward change to the offer or will it be more complicated and possibly mean we will need to pay the fee for ending the original mortgage early?

Thank you in advance
