Student loan deduction P60

My husband has received his P60 and it is showing a student loan deduction of £43. He has never had a student loan so am querying why this would be showing. Does anyone have any ideas please?

You need to speak to the employer and the student loans company. One of them have confused him with someone else1

Yes it must be a mistake, SLC are pretty good at refunding, usually 5 days or so. (Obviously that is not taking into account any staffing issues etc they may currently have!)2

Worth checking whether there were ever any deductions on a payslip? Do the final totals on the P60 match what was on his March payslip? (Ours show 'this month' and 'year to date' for everything!)Signature removed for peace of mind0
