Iceland no show delivery, phones not being answered
Hi, Last week received an email confirming that I was being offiered priority online shopping with iceland. I placed the order for the 19th apr, on the morning received an email and an text saying is was on its way.
So 19th came and went with no delivery, no email, text or phone call to let me know its running late, which I would understand during these difficult times. I then called customer service to be told phone Lines were closed so called the branch. The branch has been engaged since the 19th until today 23rd apr. I resorted to tweeting, iceland responded asking me to send private message with my details, which I did. this was Monday and I have heard of nothing since.
Please help as they have taken my money and no shopping, no way of contacting them.

I’ve just taken a look at their Twitter feed under tweets and replies and it appears that you are unfortunately not alone, there are so many complaints and Iceland’sThere is not much I can offer in the way of help I’m afraid, other than to say keep on sending them messages on Twitter and asking when they will reply on their main feed and make sure to say you have already sent them a message on Monday and are still waiting.
reply to all is to DM and they will get around to looking at it as soon as they can.
Hopefully someone on here will be able to offer some more helpful advice than I am able to so you can get your money returned quickly, if not it may be worth contacting your own bank/ credit card company asking what they are able to do to help with a refund.0 -

Thank you for taking the time to respond.
I contacted my bank Thursday afternoon and they have escalated the complaint and issued me a refund. Iceland then replied on Friday afternoon to my DM stating they had tried to deliver and there was no answer, which is a lie as I have the Ring door bell that records anyone who rings or approaches my door. They stated they have now refunded me and when I checked its the wrong amount and they since owe me some more money!
Feel very sorry for all the other people who get the same treatment from Iceland, their management has a lot to answer for.

Iceland seem to have taken on far more than they can manage and rather than helping people have just caused more stress.
I hope you manage to get some shopping delivered or can arrange for someone to get it for you, failing that your local council may be able to help, the council where I am have set up a special hotline to help where they can.
