Is home buying still happening?

Hello All,
I’m just wondering, I currently have my house up for sale through a new build developer. Now obviously I’m currently getting no viewings to sell mine so can’t really do anything, but I have enquires about maybe Part Exchange, now if that was possible, Is it still possible to get the ball rolling, I know at the moment no-one can get valuations etc, but is it still possible to start things and get the ball rolling, as the house is only due to complete in July/August?
Thanks.

What conditions will the developer attach to the reservation if you make one?0

I am yet to speak to the sales representative they have left me a voicemail.
if They was willing to do the part exchange , is there even any point, considering they can’t get any Valuations done on either my house or the new build. Am I just wasting my time?0 -
We are buying a new build our mortgage application went in with Barclays on the 12/3 and was due to have a valuation on 26/3. The valuation got cancelled due to obvious reasons but we received our mortgage offer from Barclays very unexpectedly yesterday, we expected to be waiting for lockdown to be lifted, so I would presume they are working through valuations somehow so it may not be wasting your time.0

silly question but is it even possible to get hold of removal men to help you move?0 -
We moved end of March but had to rent a van and do it ourselves. Removal and storage companies went into lockdown0
