Verbal Mortgage Offer

Newbie on here!
I’ve finally received my mortgage offer on Monday 20th April after a long 8 weeks with Aldermore.
I just wanted to ask how long it takes after verbal confirmation to actually receiving the mortgage offer letter in the post. Does my solicitor also receive the offer by post as well. I’m a FTB so this is all very new to me.

Postal service is slow at the moment. Your solicitor will receive a copy as well.

Once done they are quick to put in the post both to you and your solicitor. If you went through broker and depending on bank they sometimes can fax it to your broker. Few days it should take for the post to come through! I suppose you just can’t wait after waiting for the good news for so long!
    Good luck!

We were emailed when our mortgage offer was issued that it was heading out in the post (YBS) and I asked for them to send over a PDF copy, which they did. I'm sure if you emailed Aldermore they'd be able to issue one to you via email as well as issuing a postal copy.
