Made redundant but caught in hire freeze

Hi
Hope everyone is keeping well here. I was made redundant just before the lockdown begin due to structure change. But since then my company had a hire freeze so I could not apply for any ' internal suitable alternative' roles which I was hoping for. Any change that I get any compensation on this situation?
Thanks
Emily

Sadly not. There is never any guarantee that suitable roles will be available, lockdown or otherwise.0

Well, yes you'll get your redundancy package, which is your compensation for the redundancy. The minimum is https://www.gov.uk/calculate-your-redundancy-pay but you should have already been told what you are getting as part of the consultation.
