Morning,
Does anybody work for this company? My daughter has worked for them since last year and even though staff were sent home at the start of lockdown still she has not received any furlough pay! This is the latest email she has received..Update from PayStream

 

Yesterday the Government updated its guidance on how the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will operate and also issued draft legislation pursuant to sections 71 and 76 of the Coronavirus Act 2020.

 

In this update there was once again a change to the eligibility criteria and unfortunately neither the guidance nor the draft legislation specifically answers the questions we have asked around the correct level of pay for furloughed umbrella workers. Although we understand there are rumours that further guidance will issued this week it is not guaranteed that this will happen.

 

It has been confirmed that for those who are eligible, furlough pay can be backdated.

 

Working together with trade associations APSCO and FCSA it is clear that our sector are pushing for answers, we will continue to keep you informed as we receive more information or anything else progresses.

Is this normal for people being furloughed? In a way I am lucky by working in a school and still receiving my pay. I never fully understand how her pay each month is worked out compared to mine, so many deductions.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Is her umbrella company paid under PAYE or by invoice? If the former she should be eligible but if the later then I don't believe she would be
