Nintendo Switch

Hi all, I have a 10 year old grand-daughter with a birthday on the 20th May and she has asked for a Nintendo Switch which are not in stock and apparently there is a "bot" that is automatically purchasing once they are in stock. Of course I can get them for double and sometimes triple the price from e-bay profiteers with no guarantee of its working, but my daughter and I are struggling (we are getting it between us) as it is due to her having bi-polar and a recent back operation and therefore me having to have time off to have her three children. I would normally say well, that is that, but she has been through so much and her dad (who is in another relationship and has had three other children) said she could have it and has bought her step-brother one. The dad won't of course be buying her one but she is soooo very excited. I really want to fulfil this wish so if anyone does see one, in stock and at a reasonable price (new ones used to sell at £279 with a shop guarantee) I would really really appreciate you letting me know. Hope you are all safe and well in these uncertain times.

I registered with stock informer, and managed to get one from Curry’s when they came back in stock. I missed out on a couple of alerts but struck lucky at 7am on Good Friday, paid £5 for next day delivery and it arrived on the Saturday.Just keep checking Nintendo UK, Curry’s, Smyths Toys, and Very.1

Not sure if you are still looking? Just had an email from Nintendo Uk saying stock arriving soon, now is the time to keep checking retailers, it’s how I got mine.1

Thanks @shorty31 I ordered one from AO yesterday at £280 and even though I did not pay the extra £15 for next day delivery it is apparently arriving this morning, whoop whoop! I had all of the retailers open on tabs and just kept refreshing the pages every few hours every day. AO sold out in minutes so I was very lucky.
I did sign up to the stock informer and am receiving all of the notifications of stock in today. Currys and Nintendo had stock first thing although they are only selling as bundles. My grand- daughter will be a very happy young lady
Thanks again x0 -
