Banked hours

A lot of companies use this, where I'm at they do. Typically if you owe hours you'll do a Saturday every so often to pay it back.

Think in the current climate the offer is a pretty good one, there is probably a 100,000 employees that would snap the hands of an employer that offered that at the moment. What is the alternative if you decline? The reality is if you owe them 40 hours you can have that paid back over a few weeks if you really wanted. Even an extra day a week would get it paid back in a month hardly a great sacrifice, for job security and remaining on full pay.
