ESW1 and Cladding for re-mortaging

Hello everyone! We have just had the results of our cladding and the building we are in needs remedial work - its 16yo so not covered by the builders insurance anymore and was built to standards at the time (which have obviously changed since Grenfell). Especially in the current situation, this is unlikely to be completed by the time we need to remortgage in August.
Does anyone know or have any advice on how this will affect us remortgaging? To try and save for a family home we were looking at also switching to a buy-to-let mortgage and moving back in with my parents to help with this.
Thanks in advance
