Early repayment with Klarna was too early and now I'm in arrears?

Hi all,
I am new here - first post so please bear with me!
I have a finance agreement with Klarna for a purchase from a retailer. 2 months ago I called up every one of my repayment companies to change my direct debit date to be more in line with when I get paid (in an attempt to be a bit more financially stable). I called Klarna too and they advised I couldn't change the date but I could cancel the DD and set up a standing order instead. The initial direct debit date is the 13th of each month so I took her advice and set up a standing order instead to come out on the 1st of each month. March payment was fine but today I received an email to say I am in arrears on my April payment. I called them (1 hour wait... understandable due to the pandemic!) and was advised I made the payment too early so instead of it being classed as April's payment, it was instead classed as an overpayment from the previous month. He then went on to say I would have to make ANOTHER payment to cover this month then set up standing order to be within 5 or so days of the original DD?! If I don't make this payment it would be classed as a missed payment entirely and will negatively impact my credit score. I'm not really in a position to be able to make another payment from my debit card so I would literally have to do it from my credit card but I am genuinely so annoyed that this is the case. Is there any way to get around this? I am clearly not in arrears especially when I am making my payments early, I also only have around 5 months left of this agreement, had it so far for 18 months and paid every month on time. Klarna are saying it is basically the system and they are unable to change it or even override it. Plus, I was not advised this on my first phone call. Looking for some advice on what to do?
Thanks!

You'll need to make the payment for this month.
If a credit card is your only option, you'll have to withdraw cash or do a money transfer as they're very unlikely to accept card payments. Remember to factor in the fees for either method.0
