Hello, Next year starting in July 2021-July 2022 i am due to start a year long work placement from my university, i hope to be doing it abroad. Do you think it is likely i will be able to still do this. I am due to start a 5 week work placement as well starting April 2021, I would have hoped to do that abroad as well but I am less concerned about that then my year long one because there were opportunities to work in Disney land Florida, Australia and South Africa to name but a few so a very exciting opportunity
Also apologies if this is on the wrong part of the site

Who knows what’s going to be happening by summer 2021 - it’s way too early to know, or even make any kind of educated guess...
(and, by the way, it’s Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland is in California - you may think I’m being pedantic but if you want to work there you really ought to know where you’re applying to)Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -

All I can suggest is that you keep an eye on adverts and deadlines for any placements or positions you want to apply for and keep your fingers and toes crossed, because even an educated guess is just that, and the people making the decisions don't necessarily share that education.Signature removed for peace of mind0

How would anyone here know? Sadly fortune tellers are not classed as essential workers...0

Variables we don't know -
- What will happen with the COVID-19 pandemic
- Who will be US president and whether they will make it harder for non-US citizens to do seasonal work/work placements in the US.
- Whether the Brexit transition period will be extended and what affect that will or won't have.0
