H2B mortgage - pending valuation -- used broker from House Builders

Hi,
I'm buying on London H2B equity loan. My mortgage advisor was suggested by broker - and seems whole of market and generally independent and was also free. I'm not very happy at continuing with my reservation price that I agreed last month due to uncertainty. Options are i) walk ii) renegotiate the price - I have informed the house builder of this. They are checking with their 'directors' - at this late stage (H2B issued, and mortgage offer pending after AIP) if the price was to drop - would H2B be able to support this and alter the amount they are borrowing me?

Am I fixed on the original price - even though we all know the market is going to crash?
