Don't give out the passwords, but I doubt the government is going to be whinging that employees answered a few phone calls. After all the scheme is to protect jobs, so fairly pointless if not work to return to if a business collapses because and employee would not answer a few questions.
  • Regarding the password issue - I cannot really do anything as my Team Leader gave my password without asking, this is something I'll be dealing with once I'm back at work.

I’m not sure your team leader should have you password. That in itself may be against your companies security policies and could potentially be used against you.

Personally I would just change your password when you’re back at work and don’t make a big deal of this.

Yes!  This!  How did your team leader get your password in the first place?  It will be against your company security policy, and should not have happened.

You can't be sure of the OP's company policy.

I have worked in places where passwords had to be provided (in a sealed envelope, kept in a safe) in case of need.

OK, you're right, I can't be 100% sure.  But any company that has an IT system where it's OK to share passwords is basically asking for trouble.  If we knew who they were, it's probably worth trying to access it to see how far we can get (legally, of course!)
